Dr. E. Eugene Shin was selected to receive the 2011 NASA Exceptional Public Service Medal, one of the highest awards in the agency. This award represents acknowledgement of Dr. Shin’s significant contributions to NASA’s mission and purpose.
Dr. Shin is a principal scientist and research team manager for the Materials-Polymers team at OAI and has worked for the Polymers Branch in the Structures and Materials Division under the Glenn Research Center Research & Technology Directorate as an on-site contractor since 2001.
