Mr. Smith has over 7 years of experience developing and commercializing electromagnetic (EM) shielding materials as well as electromagnetically reflective and absorptive materials for aerospace and defense applications. While at STM Mr. Smith has lead various EM shielding programs including the development of architectural shielding materials to control wireless emissions and prevent electronic eavesdropping at Department of Defense classified test sites. In his current role Mr. Smith is responsible for working with customers to develop unique solutions to challenging EM problems and ensuring STM’s research and development efforts stay focused on the cutting edge while remaining aligned with customer needs.
