Dr Schmitt will reflect on and share his experiences about the journey, and his numerous scientific experiments with lunar rock and soil.. His address is: “Hammers, Core Tubes, and Rock Boxes” – all related to his lunar science work. NOT TO BE MISSED.
EnergyTech2019 Program Segment—Securing our Energy and Critical Infrastructure
An “INFRAGARD Special” Oct 22 AM—Integrating the BEST minds from InfraGard, NASA, DOE, and thinkers the field of security engage in panel discussions on Power & Energy related topics “Mission Needs, Challenges, and Opportunities”.. followed by a second session to present “Powering Through: Building Critical Infrastructure Resilience” presented by InfraGard leaders on the vital effort to protect our society from major threats.
EnergyTech2019 Program Segment—Microgrids: Transforming our Vital Infrastructure

Oct 22 – PM, the breakout sessions will bring technical experts to present the current state of technology in Microgrids, and the readiness for evolving and protecting our core energy and infrastructure systems. A focus on the Cleveland area microgrid, its planned architecture and future outlook for regional energy solutions.

A special presentation by a top DOE researcher will summarize a recent major study defining Microgrid solutions for Infrastructure

EnergyTech Program Segment—Integrated Systems Models for Complex Systems

10/23 AM – after a historic address by Dr. Schmitt, researchers and technologists will present the “modern tools and methods” of development which are essential for complex systems development and space initiatives. Imagine what we could have done during the Apollo days with this technology. (Ponder this: How did they do what they did – with 60’s era technology)

EnergyTech Program Segment—Power & Energy Technology

Advancing technology in Power Systems and Components is the principal focus of a series of sessions spanning Oct 22-23, with expert researchers discussing applications for space and terrestrial systems. Topics on Power Generation, Energy Storage, Distribution, Management & Autonomous Control, and High Voltage design are all covered, as well as Thermal management concepts

EnergyTech Program Keynote: Mark Jennings-Bates on the PAL-V and “Era of the Jetsons”

Its a CAR that Flies, and a PLANE that Drives… If you grew up a fan of the Jetsons or Transformers, you’re going to love the PAL-V. Not only will Energy Tech 2019 have one on display, we’re also excited to welcome Mark Jennings Bates, who will be on hand to discuss the evolution of the flying car – the “Personal Air Land Vehicle”, or PAL-V.
